Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – May 2. Los Angeles.

Departure: Los Angeles to Dubai.

DAY 2 – May 3. Arrival: Dubai.

Upon arrival in Dubai, meet your tour escort and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Dubai. 

DAY 3 – May 4. Dubai.

Breakfast. Start the day with a visit to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa at the top 124th & 125th floor then a half day city tour driving along the historic sites and vibrant cosmopolitan life of Dubai on this tour. Then proceed to the Jumeirah district near the iconic sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel. Drive next to Al Bastakiya, the old part of Dubai, and reach Dubai Museum located in Al Fahidi Fort. Embark an Abra (water taxi) to cross the Creek to the spice souk where the fragrances of the orient come together and finally visit the Gold Souk before return to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will be pick up again for the afternoon Desert Safari tour with entertainment. Overnight in Dubai. (B).

DAY 4 – May 5. Dubai - Abu Dhabi.

Breakfast. A Full day Abu Dhabi sightseeing. Discover the highlights of Abu Dhabi, capital of the Emirates, known as the Arabian Jewel. On arrival, the first destination is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. We then continue to visit the Sheikh Zayed Centre to get a glimpse into the private life of H.H. Sheikh Zayed, who is often referred as "The Father of the UAE". Our next stop is the Heritage Village where we are taken to the past to explore the life before oil was discovered. A Drive along the beautiful Corniche and Saadiyat Island, home of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum and others, will bring you to Yas-Island. Here we will have a final stop near the Ferrari World before returning to the ship in Dubai.  Return in the evening to Dubai. Overnight in Dubai. (B).

Dress Code: Loose long trousers or long skirts & long sleeves to ankle/wrist. No shorts for men, no tight & transparent clothing. Women must cover their head with a scarf hence we suggest bringing it along. No visible tattoos.

DAY 5 – May 6. Dubai - Cairo - Museum - Mummies

Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel then transfer to the airport for the flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo. Meet and assist. Proceed with a guided tour in Cairo. Visit the national museum of civilization where you get the chance to see the royal mummies of ancient Egypt. Early dinner. Overnight in Cairo. (B, D).

Day 6 - May 7. Cairo - Pyramids - Sphinx - Sakkara

Breakfast. We visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza Plateau. On to visit the steps Pyramid of Sakkara and the ancient city of Memphis. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (B, D).

Day 7 - May 8. Cairo  Old Cairo Churches - The Egyptian Museum

Breakfast. Visit Old Cairo churches including the Hanging church, St. sergio and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Next, we visit the Egyptian Museum which displays the ancient Egyptian treasures. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (B, D)

Day 8 - May 9. Cairo - Luxor

Breakfast. Check-out at the hotel then depart to the airport for the flight to Luxor. Embarkation on board of the cruise. The cruise will serve as your floating hotel for 4 nights. Cruise will sail to the sightseeing site and once the cruise docks, a private bus will be waiting for you to drive you to the closest point to the sightseeing where you get to visit the unmatched temples. Luxor is known as the open-air museum as it has 1/3 of the world's monuments. Visit Karnak temple. Evening visit to the lit Luxor temple. Overnight on board of the cruise. (B, L, D).

Day 9 - May 10. Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatchepsut

Breakfast on board of the cruise. Enjoy your private visit to the Valley of Kings where you get the chance to visit 3 colorful tombs of the royal kings of ancient Egypt. If you wish to enter Tut Ank Amumm's tom, there is an additional ticket of USD14 per person to be paid on spot. Next, visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatchepsut and Colossi of Memnnon facing the Nile. Back to the cruise. Sailing to Esna. Overnight on board the cruise. (B, L, D).

Day 10 - May 11. Kom Ombo - Edfu

Breakfast on board the cruise. A horse carriage will be waiting for you once you disembark the cruise. The carriage will take you to Edfu temple to visit the intact temple. Back to the cruise for lunch. Sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo temple which is designed for the two Gods Sobek and Harories. Carved on the walls of this temple, you will find the medical tools that the pharaohs used to treat their patients. Back to the cruise. Dinner and overnight on board. Show and entertainment in the lounge. (B, L, D).

Day 10 - May 12. High Dam - Unfinished Obelisk - Philae Temple

Breakfast on board. Visit the high dam which was built to protect Egypt from flood and it also serves as a main source of electricity in Egypt. On to visit the unfinished obelisk which would have been the biggest obelisk in the world yet was discontinued. A motor boat will wait for you by the Nile bank that will take you to Philae temple which was reassembled on a island. Lunch on board. Overnight on board the cruise. (B, L, D).

Day 11 - May 13. Fly to Aswan to Cairo.

Disembarkation after breakfast, fly back to Cairo. After lunch or dinner transfer to the airport for the early morning of May 14 flight back to Los Angeles via Dubai.
