Day 1: Sep 05 (Sun). Depart Los Angeles to Cairo.

Day 2: Sep 06 (Mon). Cairo

Arrival Cairo - Transfer to hotel

Welcome to Cairo! We will arrive at Cairo Airport. Upon our arrival where we will meet our local guide and driver and head directly to our hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sep 07 (Tue). Cairo Tour - Pyramids

Following our breakfast in Cairo, we will depart with a full day tour in Cairo. We visit the Great Pyramids and Sphinx in Giza Plateau. Next we continue to Egyptian Museum which displays the ancient Egyptian treasures including Tut Ankh Amun. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Sep 08 (Wed). Cairo - St. Catherine

Following breakfast, we will depart Cairo and drive for around 6 hours to reach St. Catherine. En Route we will stop by Moses Springs, Elim and Rafedin (Moses Exodus Route). Dinner and overnight in St. Catherine.

Day 5: Sep 09 (Thu). St. Catherine - Taba - Araba - Petra

Early in the morning, we climb Moses Mountain. It was this mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Descend for breakfast at hotel. Then we visit St. Catherine’s Monastery. View the burning Bush where God spoke to Moses well. Transfer to Taba Border and cross into Jordan where we will meet our local guide and driver and head directly to our hotel in Petra for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Sep 10 (Fri). Petra Tour - Madaba - Mt Nebo - Amman

After breakfast, we will visit the site of Petra, a 2000 year old Nabatean (Ancient Arab) city that was highlighted in the movie “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”. We will walk through the narrow passageway (called the “Siq”) up to the Treasury, a massive royal tomb carved out of solid rock. If time permits, we will visit the traditional Tomb of Aaron (Moses’ brother), along with Little Petra before. Then we will head to visit Madaba, the city of mosaics to see the wonderfully vivid 6th century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land in the contemporary Greek Orthodox church of St. George. Then we will continue to visit Mt. Nebo the most revered holy sites of Jordan. This mountain was mentioned in Deuteronomy 34, "Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah..." While here, you will tour the Holy site of where Moses died and was buried. Check in at our hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Sep 11 (Sat). Amman – Sheik Hussein - Nazareth

Following breakfast, the group will head to cross to Israel through Sheik Hussein Border were we will meet our local guide and driver and head to our hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight in Nazareth.

Day 8: Sep 12 (Sun). Nazareth - Sea Galilee - Capernaum - Mt Tabor - Nazareth

After breakfast, we will start the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Afterwards we will visit Capernaum, the town of Jesus which is the center of his ministry where he performed many miracles. Visit the House of St. Peter and the ruins of the ancient Synagogue where Jesus preached. Stop at Tabgha, the Primacy of St. Peter and visit the Church of the Miracle of the Loaves and the Fishes, the site of the multiplication miracle and the Mt. of Beatitudes. End of the day will be visiting Mt. Tabor. Enjoy the spectacular view of upper Galilee, where Jesus transfigured in the presence of Peter, James, and John, and upon which stands the Church of Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.

Day 9: Sep 13 (Mon). Nazareth – Cana 

Start the day with visit to Nazareth, we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and view the Blessed Cave, where Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. View Mary and Joseph’s house and carpentry shop where Jesus spent 30 years of his life. Then we continue to Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 10: Sep 14 (Tue). Nazareth – Jericho - Dead Sea - Dead Sea - Ein Karem

After breakfast we depart to visit Jericho where to see the Mt. of Temptation, the Sycamore tree and visit Tel Jericho, where the city stood at the time of Joshua, followed by a visit of Bet Arabah baptismal site. And then we will enjoy a swim in the Dead Sea's unique healing mineral waters. After, we continue to Bethany and Lazarus Tomb. End of the day will be visiting Ein Karem birthplace of St. John the Baptist and where the Virgin Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. We will visit the Church of the Visitation. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. (B, D).      

Day 11: Sep 15 (Wed). Via Dolorosa - Holy Sepulchre - Wailing Wall - Mt. Olives – Mt. Zion

Early in the morning we will follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa to the Holy Sepulcher Church. And visit the church of Ecce Homo. From there we will also visit the church of St. Anne the birthplace of Mary, and Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus headed the paralytic. Then we continue to visit the Wailing Wall the most important Jewish site in Jerusalem. Then we continue to Mount of Olives, the Chapel of the Ascension, from which Jesus returned to his Father and the Pater Noster Church where our Lord taught his disciples how to pray, walk down the Road of Palm Sunday to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus endured his Agony, Afterward continue to Mount Zion and the Upper Room where Jesus instituted the Eucharist & the Priesthood, situated over the tomb of David and next to the Church of Dormition, where our Mary fell into eternal sleep and the church of St. Peter of Gallicantu, Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. Day 12: Sep 16 (Thu). Shepherds Field - Bethlehem 

We start the day in Bethlehem and Shepherd's Field and Grotto. In Bethlehem we visit one of the oldest churches in Christianity, the Church of the Nativity, built over the birthplace of our Lord. We will also see St. Catherine's built over the tomb of St. Jerome. Surrounding Bethlehem are the Shepherd's Field, where the shepherds saw the angels who heralded Jesus' humble birth. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem. (B, D)

Day 13: Sep 17 (Fri). Departure to Los Angeles

After breakfast, Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for the flight back to Los Angeles.
