Day-By-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Jan 29. Depart Los Angeles to Cairo via Dubai.
Day 2 – Jan 30. Cairo. Upon arrival you are meet by the tour escort and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3 – Jan 31. Cairo-Pyramids-Sphinx-Pyramid of Sakkara
After breakfast. Start the day with a visit to the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza Plateau. On to visit the steps of Pyramid of Sakkara and the ancient city of Memphis. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
Day 4 – Feb 01. Cairo-Hanging Church-St. Sergio-Ben Ezra Synagogue-National Egyptian Museum of Civilization
After breakfast. Visit the Old Cairo churches, including the Hanging church, St. Sergio and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Next, visit the Egyptian Museum which displays the ancient Egyptian treasures. Visit the national museum of civilization where you get the chance to see the royal mummies of ancient Egypt. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B, D)
Day 5 – Feb 02. Cairo-Luxor flight. Luxor temple-Karnak temple
Fly to Luxor. Embarkation on board the cruise. The cruise will serve as your floating hotel for 4 nights. Cruise will sail to the sightseeing site and once the cruise docks, a private bus will be waiting to drive you to the closest point to the sightseeing where you get to visit the unmatched temples. Luxor is known as the open-air museum as it has 1/3 of the world's monuments. Visit Karnak temple. Then visit in the evening the lit Luxor temple. Overnight on board of the cruise. (B L, D)
Day 6 - Feb 03. Cruise-Valley of Kings-Mortuary temple of Queen Hatchepsut-Colossi of Memnnon
Breakfast on board the cruise. Enjoy your private visit to the Valley of Kings where you get a chance to visit 3 colorful tombs of the royal kings of ancient Egypt. If you wish to enter TUT Ankh Amumm's tomb, there is an additional ticket of $14 P.P. to be paid on spot. Next, visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatchepsut and Colossi of Memnnon facing the Nile. Back to the cruise. Sailing to Esna. Overnight on board of the cruise. (B, L, D)
Day 7 - Feb 04. Cruise-Edfu temple-Kom Ombo temple
Breakfast on board the cruise. A horse carriage will be waiting for you once you disembark the cruise. The carriage will take you to Edfu temple to visit the intact temple. Back to the cruise for lunch. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo temple which is designed for the 2 God's Sobek and Harories. Carved on the walls of this temple, you will find the medical tools that the pharaohs used to treat their patients. Back to the cruise. Dinner and overnight on board. Show and entertainment in the lounge. (B L, D)
Day 8 - Feb 05. Cruise-Aswan Dam-Unfinished Obelisk-Philae temple
Breakfast on board the cruise. Visit the high dam which was built to protect Egypt from flood and it also serves as a main source of electricity in Egypt. On to visit the unfinished obelisk which would have been the biggest obelisk in the world yet was discontinued. A motor boat will wait for you by the Nile bank that will take you to Philae temple which was reassembled on an island. Lunch on board. Overnight on board of the cruise. (B, L, D)
Day 9 - Feb 06. Aswan-Cairo
After breakfast on board the cruise. Disembark from the cruise ship then you will be transported to the airport for your return flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo. (B, D)
Day 10 - Feb 07. Cairo-Dubai
After breakfast, you will be transported to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Dubai. Upon arrival, you'll be met by Orient Tours representative to take you to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (B)
Day 11 - Feb 08. Dubai-City tour-Burj Khalifa-Desert Safari
After breakfast at the hotel. In the morning: You will depart for the city tour starting in the Jumeirah district with a photo-stop of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel from the popular Jumeirah beach. Drive next onto the man-made Palm Jumeirah Island, driving past the magnificent Atlantis Resort. Proceed along the busy Sheikh Zayed Highway for photos including the awe-inspiring Burj Khalifa, still the world's tallest building, Museum of the Future and Dubai Frame. Reaching the historic district of Al Bastakiya in old Dubai, then stop for photos, drive past the 18th century Al Fahidi Fort to experience a short sail by Abra (traditional water taxi) across Dubai Creek. Disembark at the Spice Souk to breathe in fragrances of the orient. Afterwards, there is time to shop in Dubai's most visited site - Deira Gold Souk.
Visit Burj Khalifa at the top- level 124 + 125, general admission, non prime hours.
Afternoon - Desert Safari with dinner at the Orient Tours Desert campsite. This tour departs across the Arabian Desert with photo-stops during an exciting dune drive. Then stop at a camel farm to learn about the "Ships of the Desert". A spectacular sunset welcomes you at our traditional Arabian Campsite with 'Gahwa" Arabic coffee and local dates. Experience a brief camel ride, try sand boarding and get a henna tattoo then relax with a Shisha water-pipe. Then a Shawarma or Falafil sandwich is served before settling in the watch the evening's live entertainment. A Tanoura traditional folk dance is followed by an enthralling fire blower show. Take a break and enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner. Later a belly dance performed under the starlit sky brings the evening to a close.
Day 12 - Feb 09. Dubai-Abu Dhabi
After breakfast, You will be taken to a full day tour to Abu Dhabi. This tour will take you to the most visited sights in Abu Dhabi - UAE's capital, built on a natural island. On arrival in Abu Dhabi, stop first at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Completely clad in marble, the mosque has numerous intricate Islamic decorations. Drive next to the waterfront Corniche for a visit of the Heritage Village, built on a man-made wave-breaker skyline, then enjoy a photo-stop near the US$3B Emirates Palace Hotel. Then travel past pristine gardens and beaches to reach the charming Central Souq with time to mingle with the locals. Continue to the traditional dates market for a chance to sample and buy from a staggering variety of dates, before arriving in Saadiyat Island, a cultural hub and home to the stunning Louvre Abu Dhabi. Stop for photos, then drive to nearby Yas Island for a stop at the world's first Ferrari World theme park for souvenirs. Transfer back to Dubai. Overnight in Dubai. (B, L)
Note. Dress code is loose long trousers or long skirts reaching the ankles and long sleeves reaching the writes. Shoulders must be covered. No shorts for men, no tight or transparent clothing, no visible tattoos. Women bust bring a scarf to cover their heads.
Day 13 - Feb 10. Dubai-USA
After breakfast. you will be transported to Dubai International Airport for your return flight to USA. END of TOUR.
